The Creative Critter... [Update]
The creative critter in me has been quite active on all fronts this past week or so, which is nice. It got me to finish my fourth piece in the "Breaking the Bonds" series and my fourth and fifth pieces in the "Suffer the Children" series and then to move right on into the next piece after that full force. I also did a few in my Mercer AU.
But it's not just that, dear friends, no...the creative critter got me to MAKE ART!! *Le Gasp!* The icon attached to this post? Self-made! And I also made a banner off the same images which is on my profile and below:
Of course, with every plus there is a touch of minus which is appearing in the form of very bizarre, rather dark, dreams. I don't mind them so much, they're actually helping in my writing some, but some do give me the willies when I first wake up...I guess that's what happens when you research serial killers, write fanfic about child-murders, and listen to Disturbia by Rihanna too much, haha!
I'm a little past half-way done in selecting my votes for cmfanficawards which, for me, is impressively ahead of schedule, haha!
I hope to write a piece for the new challenge at criminal_prompt due February 28 with the prompt of "Close Your Eyes". (The creative critter's already playing with its ball of ideas on this one.)
I signed up for the Rossi/Prentiss Spring Smut-a-thon 2010 being held at cmrossiprentiss...my prompt is "Sunflower", it's 500 word minimum, and due March 19. (A bit of a challenge for me since, while I've written some references to them being together in How To Wake A Princess, I've never written full on smut/sex.)
...I haven't thought of any prompts myself for rounds_of_kink or dark_fest so (unless I do) I'll probably just wait until claiming starts and see what grabs my interest. ...Hopefully there will be some Criminal Minds stuff up I can rock. :D
