Slave to the Word [Updates, Etc]
Woo, I've been writing my backside off lately and the words are barely letting me get a...well...word in edgewise, haha!
Biggest news first: Later afternoon/evening I got official notice that I have, in fact, been nominated for the cmfanficawards in TWO categories!! First is Best New Author, which I'm totally psyched over cause I really wanted to get that since, haha, I only had one shot at it, ya know? Second was Best Het Smut/Sex Scene for my Hotch/Prentiss piece Undercover Adultery which is totally delightful in my opinion...see that was my first story with them together and, in fact, done on a dare by a friend (goes to show, sometimes you should take those writing dares) so I never thought it'd ever get a nomination, haha!
Now this leads me into the next thing...I've started filling out my own nomination sheet for the cmfanficawards which, if all goes as planned, should be done and turned in by tonight/tomorrow AM. I'm always a procrastinator like that, but I do get it done, haha!
Both my first two "Suffer the Children" series pieces are past the 20 comment mark and I currently have the third piece up: Bruised Prince
I also got a wonderfully big response to my third Hotch/Reid "Breaking the Bonds" piece: Shaky Control
And I found an OLD (from Feb '09) piece that, after getting a PM reminding me of it, I think I'll finish it. Go here to get all the chapters listed in one place, including the newest one. And please keep in mind that they were, like, my very first stab at CM fanfic and, haha, unedited.
I still need to do/finish the challenges for ficlets100 table (I've done about 82/100), cmrossiprentiss, and ssa_rossi. Again, I always procrastinate, but I also get it done!
As far as nonfiction goes...I finished my latest essay, which is: Female of the Species Part 2: The Aggressive Girls. I'll now likely do a third, this one focusing on women's roles in "Killer Couples" - my thought is to focus on the more dominant (or at least eagerly participating) women in these kinds of couples.

...I'm exhausted...and yet still kinda bouncing off the walls, haha!
