This made me smile. I love Christmas stories and this one is just wonderful. I love how the conversation flows, then it gets awkward, then they try to get it back, and then Hotch sorta says the wrong thing. What I love most is that he clarified his clarification and then just walked away. I like the way it ends.

Oh, haha, wow I didn't expect a response so quickly! :D I'm so glad you enjoyed this, it means a lot because I love all your Hotch/Prentiss stories so much! Haha, yeah, I find great potential for the sort of push/pull of the status of their relationship whenever I write them, but of course always prefer the happy (pro-romantic) note at the end. Again, so pleased you liked this! :D

I read really fast and even though I'm at work, I like to refresh LJ. I'm glad I did because this story brought a big smile to my harried proletariat face.

I'm excited about the amount of H/P Christmas love going up, this holiday is a good one for this pairing : )

I will be honest and say that I don't normally ship Hotch/Prentiss, but I really liked this story. It was full of those little awkward moments that people in like tend to find themselves in.
