Back in my habbit but slightly askew
Ah yes we are in our new home and working our way outta ze boxes so to speak. Things are getting into place here slowly but surely but hey man, there gettin there aight. I'm psyched about our new home, and living in an area that is like ol downtown Galveston in a way. I can't wait to break my bike out and ride. Either to work or just to random ride. I'm taking my time with it yo. I kinda still need to feel out our new surroundings. Like getting to know what areas are safe to ride in ya know? So far we have frequent cafe Brazil for breakfast twice now. something I have always, but always wanted to do. Its fragging awesome yo. This morning we got up and drove to Brazil for brunch. Later on we went over to Cactus records to check out the shop and a live show. The live show was ah this new up and coming singer Jenny Wolf. Its Ok if your into the Avril Lavigne thing. What cracked us up was the young singer looked very 17 but her band looked very senior citizen discount. Ha... anyway, T.L an scored some goodies there at the record shop. Micah and Marcus if you cats ever hit H- town I'm dragging your arses there. we walked away with self titled Ramones, Blondie, and Carol Kings Tapestry Album on wax. There was more like Television and Motorhead on vinyl but that will be next trip. Were in a recession ya kno, cant have it all. Afterwards we went to the the Alley and caught a matinee for MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER. We Caught up with some of our new friends, Luis and his wife Miranda for birthday diner at Mamas cafe. We had plane to see the WATCHMEN movie with them but we didn't get our tickets in Advance and the show they had tickets for already had sold out. No big tho, Tiff and I had Seen it for its midnight showing last Thursday, and we wanted to see SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. Great flick I have to add. See this movie its worth it, but still try and see WATCHMEN. Sunday I think were going to try and crack the rest of theses boxes open and get our shit organized. We both have the day off and we need to laundry and whatever, stuff. I'm so excited bout our lives here now. I get spaced out when I look outside and see the downtown skyline. Man, its like so effin RAD yo!
