Yet another post about...food
Just had an excellent thanksgiving dinner with all of my friends out here. When you don't have family around for turkey day, friends are a lovely substitute. Unfortunately, we didn't have a turkey. Too expensive. Instead we bought three small chickens and I cooked the cornbread stuffing in my rice cooker. It was great, there were so many people contributing that we had a wide range of interesting food to choose from, pumpkin soup, japanese sausage soup, veggie nut loaf (oishiii!), fruit salads, cranberry apple salad, chocolate pudding and lots more. Stuffed. I'm going to go curl around my stomach with a good book for a while.
