The SMS crew, including a number of faceless NPCs, has taken over Ennil's bar, after the last mission (Operation Stargazer). There's a big banner on the wall that says "Welcome back Ranka!". Drinks are flowing (Soft drinks for the kids, because there's some in SMS too.), there's a bunch of SMS guys at the biggest table singing the SMS

I've read up enough about the original SDF's pilots to know how this is going to play out. At this rate all someone needs to do is give you some pineapple salad and you'll be the Frontier's very own Roy Focker.
