spring break
lets do this is list format... otherwise it will take until next year :-)
~i went to spring kallah... in canada/toronto/missisagua (spelling) wherever/whatever you want to call that place....
~i got home sunday, and i packed for NYC
~i left for NYC on monday :-)
~jet blue is an amazing airline :-)they hae tvs and kosher for passpver snacks which i found out on the way home :-)
~once we got to NYC we ate dinner at Bubba Gumps in times square
~then we walked around and eventually met KATHY!!! and ate cheese cake
~tuesday we went to the museum of natural history with some cousins of ours... then we tried to eat in china town but none of the resturants were open to the public and none of the people the spoke english so they didnt understand that we were trying to ask them if they knew anywhere else we would go... we ended up in little italy...
~on wendsday morning we went totake a tour of the NBC studios nd i saw where
SNL is filmed (the studios were all tiny) and i met tom brokaw... and then we went to go see moving out (the billy joel musical)in the afternoon... also amazing :-)
~on thrusday we went shopping (FAO schwarts and other stores) then we went to the cloisters museam (its got a bunch of midevial stuff in it) which was very cool... but the subway train we were going to take to get the the MET was broken down so we had to take a tour through harlem and we only had 20 minutes at the MET and i was way toooo tired and sick (dehydration) to see any of the museam :-(
~after the MET we went back to our hotel and then went out to dinner at a place called RUBY FOOs... kinda like pf changs
~on friday we went to the Metropolitian musean of modern art... there were some amazing things there, and i met steve martin there...
~then we went to services at Congregation rodef shalom in manhatan right near central park, i think it might be the oldest reform congregation (maybe)
~then we ate dinner at this really loud and fancy resturant called isabellas
~on saturday we got manicures and stuff then we went to a seder with family friends in brooklyn and it rained a lot that night...
~we left on sunday morning after buying shoes... and we went to another seder that night... we hid the afikomen a bunch of times and one time it was hidden in between the basement and the first floor, it was litterally in the celieng of the basement... they moved the tile to put it up there....
thats my vacation... now its back to school... studying for exams... that start in week... why so early???????? i have nooo clue, it sucks... i have to do my portfolio for NEL board... i have to practice for swimming /c our qualyfing mets are comming up... and i have no time to do it... so im gonna go now and maybe update this weekend :-)
