I was not expecting anything when I clicked on this particular movie. This is the second one of the Ghibli movies I have ever watched, "Totoro" was first but that was a year ago. This is such a feel good movie for me even it it touches the realities of being in a war. I love how Sophie is brave through it all. I would have cowered if I were in her shoes but I guess a driving force such as hers will give her plenty of courage. I like to watch it again. The magic blends well with the struggles that its fun to watch what will happen next. My favorite part is Sophie's cleaning! I was giggling whenever Calcifer or Markl is close to her while she was cleaning. This movie opens your eyes as to what is important in your life.
