I just realized that your kids names are both starting with the first letter of you and your husbands first names. Did you guys do that on purpose?

Sort of but not really - we picked Ry because we liked it and had always had Calvin as another name. I was having such a tough time picking a second boy's name that it seemed easier to just decide it would be a C name whatever it was.. that said we still had some non C names on the list!

Second same sex names are so hard b/c you feel like the first name is so perfect!

I have a thing for vowel names... thats really my only criteria, I have no idea why.

Both of our names involve a dream Robbie had too - Ry's middle name Alva was a name he dreamt was his name. Callan was also the name he dreamt was his name. Leo, Cal's middle name, was from a dream of mine where he was born with this mane of hair and our midwife said he looked like a lion.
