*dusts off LJ* *sneezes*
Wow has it been a long time since I've posted, lol. Betweeen being sick for a couple of months now -- which seems to be becoming a yearly occurance around December/January-ish (this year it was bronchitis and pneumonia) -- my computer crashing, and a bunch of financial problems I really don't feel like getting into, I just haven't had the time or energy to keep up with everything here unfortunately. Now, though, I'm finally starting to feel halfway human again, the computer's functioning (if a little glitchy) at the moment, and the financial stuff...well, it's not any better, but me and the hubby are doing what we can and trying to put the rest out of our minds since we can't do anything about it.
I noticed I've won some awards, so thank you to everyone who had a part in that. *big grin* I'll make an awards post later once I get everything around.
Wish I could say I have something fic-ish to post, but at the moment I've got nothing. Don't know if it's been writer's block exactly that's been holding up my writing or if it's just been the being sick thing. Guess I'll have to open something up and attempt to write to see, lol. I'm hoping it's just being sick that's made me feel blah about writing, though. I'm so sick of writer's block and I think I've had more than my fair share of it over the last year and a half or so.
In other news, I'm becoming steadily more and more obsessed with Supernatural. I really, really like this show. I started watching toward the end of the first season and caught up over the break. At first I couldn't really see all the Sam/Dean stuff everyone was raving about, but over the last few episodes...I've been noticing it more and more. I"m not sure if the subtext between them has been fueling my growing obsession with the show, or if my growing obession with the show has been opening my eyes to the pretty blatant subtext, but I suspect it's been a little of both since I liked the show a lot even before I got the Sam/Dean thing, lol. Anyway, fair warning. You'll probably be seeing posts on here about the show from time to time, lol. Speaking of, five hours to go until it's on here! *bounces*
