First, here is my 'edited' version of Elijah's portion (to remove the inevitable 'um' and 'you know' interjections)(emphasis mine).
And I think that there's within the years that I've been acting, one of the greatest elements of what I do is the effect that you can have on people for the positive. It's a really profound thing to work on a movie and have an incredible process of techically creating something in terms of art, and then having a response to that [which] is emotional; and the way that people connect to you and react to the story and the characters is something very special. Whatever I do, I want to make people happy, and affect people in an emotional and powerful way.
