I just posted the other day about the kitties. Well, this story has NOTHING to do with kitties.
I work at Target. It's pretty chill. The other day I had to print out a ton of labels because we're condensing one of the sections. Some of the hanging displays didn't have label holders, so I had to go get them and figure out how to put them on. Basically, there's no good way to do it. They fit really tightly and they're a pain in the ass to get on.
Cue to me cutting my thumb. BLOOD EVERYWHERE. So I went and got myself a band-aid (after making sure blood didn't get on any of the display things), put it on, and went about my day.
I got home, and it looked kind of swollen. No big deal, I just put some Neosporin on it and called it a day.
CUT TO THIS MORNING. It looked like this:
It looks like a blister/zit/whatever. It's kinda gross. Well, it's REALLY gross. And it hurts, and it's swollen. I'm wondering if it magically got infected over night. Then, I decided to squeeze it VERY gently. And I wish I'd taken a picture of the pus or whatever that came out. It was yellow/clear, but there wasn't much of it. Now it looks like this:
It's not so swollen anymore, but there's a tiny bit of an indent where the bump had been. I'm gonna clean it, put more Neosporin on it, and hope my thumb doesn't explode.
