For some reason the cold weather wreaks havoc to my nipples/areola. While i'm in the shower if I just merely brush against them I end up sending myself into a scratching frenzy, which leaves me red and gross looking but it FEELS SO GOOD. Not sure why but this isn't a problem in the warmer months

I try, but since the skin is so irritated, putting anything on stings like hell. :( if I am good and can go without scratching for a few days, I apply moisturizing stuff generously.

Is it unscented? Sometimes the fragrance/color used in lotions will do that.

put vitamin e oil or ointment on it and put a sports bra on. my nipples get 'chapped' if I go too long without wearing a bra (a day or two) so I deal with this regularly.

if you don't have a sports bra a cami should work, something that won't rub a lot.

Ugh, the same thing happens to me- I religiously smear moisturizer on them as a general rule, but if I forget for a day or two I feel like I'm going to scratch myself to death.

I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter (jar) for my itchy nips. Mine dry, crack and bleed, and this shit works wonders...plus it smells awesome and doesn't sting or burn at all.

Walmart and most big chain stores & pharmacies carry it- just make sure you get the kind in the jar (I also have their regular lotion, but it's thinner...this stuff is very thick and works VERY well).
