A couple of years ago I posted some pictures from my first knee-surgery. They were impressive, but after I had my second surgery in september '10 it was SO MUCH BETTER.

Ahh I wish they'd let me take pictures while watching my athlete's surgeries!! (I'm an ATC and most of the time the kids -especially the boys lol- are big babies so since I constantly take care of their whiny selves I usually go to their appointments also). That is one nastyyyy wound though! I'm sorry you got an infection!! That's one reason why I hung my cleats up-- I refused to have knee or shoulder surgery so I fell old and decrepit at 25 lol! Nice pics :D

Ouch. Glad things are finally healing up-that infection looked bad.

I had knee surgery 25 years ago and this is the resulting scar.

I can take my kneecap and move it so it is perpendicular to my leg. *g*
