All right, following that lovely and relatively useless foray into the sewers--nothing down there that could have made that noise, nothing down there that could have made any noise at all. The beasts that Balthier claimed to have seen during his first mapping trip were nowhere to be found.
We did, however, find something rather unsettling. I will not go into the details, but I would like to know if anyone finds the name Ca--Cahro--
[Pauses to whisper the name under his breath a couple times, because it's very foreign to him and equally difficult to pronounce.]
Carolyn Wallace. Does anyone find that at all familiar? Sir Garcian Smith seems to, in some respect, but I am uncertain of the details and our dear friend is a little too cryptic for my tastes. Anyone else have a clue what that is all about?
Furthermore, Renji? Learn to shut up. Please. I do not care how little you like me, you are very lucky that the sewers were empty. My thanks to Sir Balthier and Lady Fran for their assistance, as well, I doubt we could have gotten through the tunnels half so fast without both of you to help find the way.
And Kusuri-uri? I find you very interesting, and look forward to seeing you again. Thank you for coming along as well.
I think that is all...
[Quiet for a second, debating turning off the device, then sighs before making an addendum.]
Also, for anyone wondering, the Commander is busy, and does not have time to deal with all your little issues right now. If anyone needs help with something the Commander was overseeing, ask myself or the Baroness Ashelin for assistance.
...And before anyone asks, yes, Torn did put Ashelin and I in charge of his mess while he is busy. I do not expect people to listen to me as they did to him--and I do not really intend to give orders the same way he does, either--but if you come to me with a question, then I will expect you to accept the answer.
