I've always wanted to learn to play guitar, but I've felt daunted by the prospect of doing so. Therefore, I have been teaching myself to play the ukulele in my spare time. So not much at all, since that's a rare commodity these days. I have a cheap-o uke that I bought at Disney World, and a website that offers lessons. The website is awesome - I, on the other hand, am less so. Making chords requires a digital dexterity that I fear I lack, and my soft programmer's hands ache from the bending and the pressure of the strings.

I know I have a number of kick-ass guitar players on my friends list, so I ask - Any tips?
