First up. Baseball.
That's right. The Tigers dropped the World Series to the Cards in five games. I won't lie and say my heart isn't just a little broken......... Okay...... A lot broken. However I do want to congratulate the fans from St. Louis. Neither of theese teams were ever suppose to make to the WS and they proved all the critics wrong. And any Tiger fan will tell you that beating the Yankees, and Winning the the ALCS, and playing in the World Series for the first time since 1984 is like winning the World Series for us.
I use to be a HUGE fan of baseball in my youth (even playing Little League). In 1994 when Baseball went on strike I became jaded to the sport and lost interest. I never totally lost interest, I should correct myself. But I stopped following the Tigers closely. I have a ton of fond memories of going places in the car and listening to Ernie Harwell calling Tiger games, and going to several games at old Tiger Stadium. I haven't been to the new park (but I plan to next year :fingers crossed:). Watching the Tigers this year has rekindled my love for baseball, and I will be watching next season as often as I can.
Went to another KWO show last weekend.
It was a pretty good show, minus the delay and card switches. Matt worked his last match for quite some time against Ben, they had a very good match, I even lifted my several years long alcohol ban, and shared a drink with Matt. And I prolly will again at his going away party. Normally I don't touch the stuff, but I look at it as more of a tribute then anything.
Needless to say December will be the end of my KWO career. I won't be attending anymore shows, or doing anymore video work. On December 15th I turn 25 years old. And I told myself that I really don't want to be 25 and going to backyard shows. I'm NOT done with wrestling as there are other things that in the works. If they fall through however, well...then I guess I am done with wrestling. But yeah, I'd just like to thank everyone for all the good times, and even better people. I've made a lot of great friends there, and I can always have KWO to thank for that. It was a lot of fun.
