Oh.. that's what he is.
I keep forgetting that this is a reboot, keep thinking that it's a sequel to Ang Lee's efforts. :3

Yeah, this has really nothing to do with Ang Lee's version. This is more of a part of Marvel Studios effort to make the whole comic book universe into a movie universe and all related through cameos and little bits of other characters in the movies. (i.e. Capt. America's shield on Tony's workbench in Iron Man.) I guess Stark Industries is mentioned a bit too.

Also there is nods to the Hulk TV show that I watched as a kid which makes me squee. Lou Ferrigno has a small part in the movie and does the voice of the Hulk since he does talk a tiny bit. :D

Aye, I definitely like the proper Marvel universe approach, that will make my inner geek squee with delight. Cross-cameos are made of awesome.
I watched the movie for the third time today, and finally noticed the shield on the big screen. I wonder how they will update Captain America, he seems a little dated as a character.. like Namor is, in some ways.

I so wish these to be ultra-good, don't you? :3

They are going to do his movie, Steve's origin movie, set in WWII like it is in the comic world. I think that is going to be awesome to approach it that way. I know the serum used to created him and slow his aging down to basically nothing is seen in the Incrediable Hulk movie. :D

I want these to be very good. I have been a Marvel fangirl and collecting comics for over 20 years now. (My collection has its own room which shares it with the action figures and movies posters. I am very much an uber geek going back to pre internet days. I have a 80s Iron Man action figure.)
