Cosplay, Christmas, Magic, Memorabilia... *mind goes boom*
I don't blog enough these days. I tend to do one bulk of a blog with all sorts of crap in it and that's it. I don't talk enough about normal things, it's always about media and cosplay. I will get out of that habit and start blogging properly again. I've started making video blogs again, so I can start doing the typed versions again too. But for now, future stuffs...
Cosplay change for May 2011 Expo
Alright, this may shock quite a few people seeing as I've been planning things for a while. The Easter Bunny Pimp is now on hold until May 2012. I will do it but I have my reasons for putting it back. I have a better idea for May London Expo, I shall be getting Professor Oak out again for the Saturday (possibly Sunday too?) because of that damn doctor's conference. I am making my stand by walking around as a Professor, and if any doctors come up to me and say anything, I'll start talking about the first 151 Pokemon and how my Pokedex works! The reason I want to do this is because they've taken almost every hotel room around the ExCeL. Of course I have mine, but lots of people I know can't get one. I know it's not the doctor's fault, but I'm still a bit peed off about it. So please understand, Bunny Pimp is now May 2012. I think lots of people should dress up as doctors and nurses, now that'd be a hoot.
December videos
Should I make The Advent Videos again? I've kind of missed them for the last 2 years, once because I couldn't be arsed, the other year because I was ill. Maybe I should do them again, they are fun afterall. :) All will be revealed on 1st of December, let's hope Memorabilia doesn't take too much uploading like the Expo videos have.
Magic: The Gathering advice needed
I'm still only just getting into Magic: The Gathering. I've built a couple of decks and I think I'm ready for battle. I am wondering though with all the new cards from different sets coming out.. can I mix them or what? I see types of games that are held at Patriot Games in Sheffield, and it confuses me. There's a couple of things about some cards I don't get either... the game in general, I understand that, it's just some cards are still pretty screwy. Fun though. :)
Memorabilia 20th November 2010
Finally, in a few days, I'm off to Memorabilia at Birmingham NEC. I'm only going on the Saturday, I'll do a couple of wander videos, film some wrestling, go and bug the guys at Tecmo Koei and probably play some other games while I'm there. I'm going to chill. The Cosplay Roadshow is there so I might check that out and make sure I see cosplay. I think the veteran Memorabilia visitors want to keep the cosplayers down though, it's not Expo, and from a few of the older fans of the show, they're not too happy about Narutards barging into the NEC. I'll be trying to get photos of cosplayers and taking some nice shots, well I'll try and do the best I can with the camera I've got. I'm hopefully getting a new one before Midlands MCM Expo.
I have other things going on. My Christmas is going to be completely dedicated to Caroline. I may try and do photo-a-day in 2011, it's been a couple of years since I did that, it's fun when I'm in the mood for photos. Okies, thanks for reading. Peace out.
