I promised earlier to include the details on my move, so here they are:
On Saturday, February 11 at 9:00 a.m., Mike and I will be meeting a few friends at my new address, 1927 15th Street (between Dolores and Church), and we will unload the last little bit of Mike's things (if need be), and then we'll trek on over to Berkeley to load up my stuff.
We'll come directly back to SF and unload (insert clever Bukkake joke here) at the new place, and then we'll all have pizza and beer (or other liquid--spare us the clever Bukkake joke here) for lunch.
There are two waves of helpers joining us: one group is gonna be there at 9:00 to go over to Berkeley and load my stuff, and the other is meeting at the new place at 11:00. If you're interested/able/useful, I'd appreciate any and all help. If, on the other hand, you have a mani/pedi/facial that morning and would rather send day laborers in your stead, that would be fine, too, provided you pay them a fair wage.
The details on the housewarming are sketchy so far, especially since we're so close to IBR weekend . . . but it's definitely the next thing on the agenda.
I figured out that I spend roughly 4.5 hours/week in commuting. Please help me brainstorm things that I can do with that time once I've moved.
