No I don't need written music. The mood is film noir. Like old 1930's detective type movie, think "The Maltise Falcon", or "Casablanca" maybe. Slow, moody, desperate with a shot of whiskey. Words like "dame" and "dirty rat" come to mind. I'd like to have it as soon as possible. My best suggestion is come over sometime and I'll show it to you, and we can brainstorm, I have a microphone tor ecord it with.

you mean like similar to pink panther theme type of mood?

Not really, Pink Panther's more bouncy and upbeat. This is the opposite. I can only really afford to pay like $50. And I'd like to do it as soon as possible. The best thing I can suggest is I just show you the short, and then maybe play clips from some movies for you to hear the music from and just see what you can come up with. No pressure, I'd just really like to give this whole "original music for my movie" thing a try. I have recording equipment to do it with.
