Concert Wednesday
I will follow that last post in very ironic fashion:
My Freshmen Bands Concert is Wednesday night. Here's the lineup:
3rd Period Freshmen Band
Peacemaker March - King
Great Expectations Overture - Daehn
Woodland Sketches - Cormac Cannon (a CCM Friend)
Alligator Alley - Daugherty
4th Period Concert Band
Rough Riders March - King (it's Ohio, they go fruit for Karl King)
West Highlands Sojourn - Sheldon
Cool Blues for Trombones - Ployhar
With Joy Resounding - Cormac Cannon (I commissioned this piece to commemorate the retirement of my predecessor)
Should be a fun concert.
Also, I will be in Austin, TX June 16 through June 22 for the U of Texas Art of Band Clinic. It looks like a good time.
