recent Cheapo purchases

They Might Be Giants "the Spine" - No matter how many of their albums I get, I always end up needing more. What a fun, old school geek rock band and their lyrics AREN'T the traditional girl/heartbreak lyrics. If you're thinking the name sounds familiar, its because they wrote that song back in the early/mid nineties called Istanbul (Not Constatinoble) and they wrote the theme for Malcolm in the Middle ("you're not the boss of me nowwwwww") - $7.95

Coalesce "Give them Rope" - Old school hardcore. This band is pretty well known. James Dewees (Get Up Kids, Reggie and the Full Effect) played drums for this band. I don't know a lot about this band, but the price attracted me - $2.95

Walls of Jericho "A Day and a Thousand Years" - this may seem like a ridiculous purchase for me, but I like a song (Revival Never Goes Out of Style) I heard on a RevHQ comp from last year's warped tour. This was released on a German label. Looked pretty rare too. -$2.95

The Ataris "Anywhere But Here" - the original pressing! Hey this cd is pretty fun to listen to! Its Ataris first full length from 1997. Very raw and very short songs (most songs are between 1 minute and 2 minutes). - $6.95

Hello Blue "What it Takes to Wake Up" - a local release and I got this only because of the strong recommendation from Mr. Thomas Rehbein. I wish he's get behind some of my releases like he is behind this one.
