I thought I lost my mind the other day but found out that it had just wandered. I spent all day apologizing to people, "I'm sorry, my mind is just somewhere else today. But when it comes back I am SO going to ground it!"

I want tourettes syndrome. Not the full blown, blurt out what I'm really thinking right to someone's face and get my ass kicked tourettes, but just a little bit. So that when that word is right on the tip of my tongue but I can't think of it, BAM! there it is. And when I'm onstage and can't remember the punchline to my own freakin' joke, BAM! there it is.
or how about this...
I went to the airport the other day (that's when everything happens) to pick up my wife and I pulled up in that special lane "for passenger pick-up only". And I looked around and said "Damn, where do I go to pick up a pedestrian? All the passengers I see already have a ride." That's the definition of a passenger... One who is already riding and therefore not in need of my vehicular assistance. My wife, however, will be emerging from the building on foot, which is why I'm here, to create a passenger."
