so today has turned my world upside down...again. i went in to work at a quarter to six and my supervisor told me that we lost the big GM contract so we were all LAID OFF. fucking shitty. so i came home. got a minute of sleep. got a phone call from one of the places that i've dropped app's at lately. it is a courier service. they want me to come in

but currier thing could be cool. i know a few kids who do that out here... it's not a bad deal. some places are even co-op. it'll be crap on your own car tho.... like pizza delivery... only to lawyers and whatnot.

also i do live in san francisco and you can't get much more crunchy or progressive than that folks out here. but i do know that a guy i knew who used to motorcycle courier used to get paid more depending on who it was for/from and what he was delivering.

yeah. san francisco is pretty cool. i've lived here 5 years now, but i grew up in beautiful flint, michigan... so when it comes to comparisons... well i can't say they are fair to make.
i like it here though. so much going on. tons of good shows. super libral. and beautiful. all these crazy hills that it's built on top of. i never thought i'd live here... but i like california more and more all the time. if you kids ever are out westway i promise to give you a good tour.
