Happy Hump Day!
Well give myself a round of applause. Here it is day 2 at LJ and I'm doing another blog. That's a record for me since I haven't blogged much in forever.
It's a nice, hot, sunny day here in South Florida. Too hot! I am so ready for the temps to start cooling off, but that wont happen for another month or so. My hubby gets the worst of it. He works outside all day and comes home so exhausted from the heat all day.
The other day I went to sign onto my bank and check my account and this weird box popped up asking for all my personal info off my debit card, my ss# & my pin that I use at the atm. Of course RED FLAGS went up in my brain and I knew something wasn't right. I closed it out and went to the bank in person and they didn't know of anything they were asking for like that so they told me to call the 800# and talk to them about it. I did and sure enough they said I had a virus on my computer and hoped I hadn't put any info in. Thank goodness I hadn't or they would of wiped my account out. So they changed my password & log in stuff for me and last night my son David got the virus off the computer for me. YAY!!! I have no idea what we clicked on to get it but it's the first time ever it's happened to me. So fair warning, if you ever get something you question even if it sounds like it's really from your bank, question it first.
Last night was a spaghetti night and it was soooo good. Now trying to figure out what to have tonight. Right this second nothing even sounds good to me.
I swear I can't believe Christmas is just almost 4 months from now. Where does the year go? I always say I'm starting early next year and then suddenly it's upon me and I haven't even begun. It's going to be a very weird holiday here this year. My only sister left that lives here is moving at the end of this month to North Florida. That will leave us & my niece's family here but everyone else has moved away. So the usual family gatherings we have are going to be very different. I'm happy for my sis though, she's really excited about the move and I know she will love it up there. She's moving to the town where many of my dads family live & my mom and dad were raised & both got married in this town. I'd love to move up that way one day, after David graduates but probably not to that little bitty town. I think you could throw a rock from one end to the other. lol My other sister just announced she's engaged about a month ago. Still waiting on a wedding date. She has moved back to Florida but she is the middle of the state more, but only 2 hours from here. I'm excited for her and her fiance' is a great guy. They use to date years ago, went separate ways, married others & had kids and ended up finding each other online and rekindled their relationship. I hope they have a happy life together.
