I went to my dad's ex-girlfriend's house and the three of us ate a nice, non-traditional vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner. We had veggie quiche, kasha, olive bread from Acme, roasted vegetables, tofu eggroll things and, for dessert, strawberry rhubarb pie with soy vanilla icecream.
So my dad and I got to her apartment, reheated all the food, made the kasha, assembled an Ikea chair so we would all be able to sit around the table, ate, then played music. It was nice. I brought my clarinet and they play guitar and sing, so we played some Beatles songs and some jazz and had a nice little "family" night. I then came back to my nearly-abandoned home and watched Zoolander with those remaining.
All in all a very nice Thanksgiving, and I got to spend it with family and friends that I love. Ooh... how sweet.
