It's the Cirrrrcle, the Circle Of....strife...
That's right school is upon us once more. The dawn of fall has always riding upon its deciduous back a frenzy of butterflies and anticipation that seeks out school children young and old and then infests their stomachs. Already the great tree of my friends is slowly losing leaves to the whirlwind of time. This time last year all I could think about was how ready I would be at the time this very moment arrived. Well it's here, and I'm not.
My life has changed so much in one year. I must say, the theme of '06 is undoubtedly ambivalence. The sweet dichotomy in the trembling heart of anticipation and the trembling lip of sobbing makes me excitedly sad and ultimately confused (i.e. this post).
Currently however, optimism and high spirits[tequila and vodka;)] have won! I feel good overall and excited to start my life's path over as an adult. I know however, the ride would be much lonelier and scarier without a few amazing people in my life, one in particular. Thanks, guys.
Off to register my brother for another judgemental, scary, and overall dissapointing year of high school. He seems excited though.
