my Jedi Academy Application

My name is Nick. As far back as i can remember i always wanted to be a Jedi. But the application process has been getting tougher and tougher. Theres all kinds of forms to fill out and what-not, and you know, this and that. They just don't make it easy. Us Mandelorians always get a bad rep! But i always say, "don't judge a book by it's cover. I've tried to apply to the Jedi academy 17 times so far. But there have always been misunderstandings or snags along the way. They always bring up age, saying i'm to old or my midi-chlorine count isn't up to pair, or some non-sense...But sooner or later, i think they'll see me for who i am. I dont have to worry about it. I always say "don't be something your not." After that whole "Order 66" business, they were hurting for Jedi. Now everyones trying to jump on the Jedi wagon. I guess it's the "hipping, cool thing to do now..." I just want to get me one of those lightsabers. Or "laser-swords," as some people call them. I'm just not crazy about the whole robe thing though. I mean, they look cool, but they seem a little combersome to me. I mean, you'd always expect them to get snagged in doors or catch on fire or something. I think they should go with jumpsuits, or one-sies. Whatever you want to call them. But you know, thats just a suggestion. I brought it up once before but theres no suggestion box at the application office.
So anyway. I don't really have any powers so that may be a minor set-back but i'm pretty good with my eyes. I could probably get a pretty good death stare going.
Anyways, thanks for reading my application and i hope this time you'll allow me to enter your elite academy.
