The Best Day of My Life....
Yesterday was the best day of my life.
I slept in...though still a little fatigued....had some breaky and rose the TTC to my date with destiny: Beth palmer's Birthday Scavenger Hunt.
Though our team had not ordered team shirts we felt prepared for teh days challenge: Ashley, Jen, Jill, Paul and I set off for five hours in the baking sun.
On our list of 100 items to find the highlights were most likely:
1) Animals in love- we found a giant doberman and a little chowchow to look longingly at eachother. Unrequited love counts!
2) Something from a David Bowie Song: Cohen went to find a "little China girl"
3) The American Dream...there were soo many good ones here
4)a beth doppleganger: we never found this one but i lvoe it anyways
5) group member trying on a prom Dress; le chateau really didni't like this one butPaul was a good sport!
6) ironic dressing: Hello Ronnie's and everyone inside
7) Gentleman Reg/Jonovision (extra points inf they are in the same shot)- Huge points to Beth for actually finding them!
8)minor in a liquor store: That baby had strong arms
So yeah these are jsut some of the higlihgts but don't you all wish you knew Beth and had a friend as effing cool as she. Plus when we rendezvous-ed at Ronnies there were cupckaes, and fruit and beer! Had it not been for my minor sun stroke and subsequent nausea I would have had a few more beers and gone out to shake a tail but I didn't I HATE MISSING DANCING FUN! I HATE IT!
