Apples anyone?
In furthering my conquest of that once evil fruit known as apples I am grabbing the camera, jumping in the car early Saturday morning and heading north for the day.
It's prime apple picking season! Not to mention the beginning of the fall foliage. The drive up the Taconic State Parkway and along Route 23 is one of my favorite and most beautiful rides. Mountains and valleys, fields and forests, farms and houses. It's been so long since I've been up there, I'm really looking forward to it.
I've got three empty seats for anyone who wants to come along.
