Yep, I started watching last summer and when I got to Twilight, I was desperate for some Tate! We'll just have to keep the pairing alive. ;)

I used to watch few years ago on the Italian TV, I remember I liked the T/K banter but I didn't ship them, but after s4 I stopped - I get bored. This spring I've watched a rerun of Dark Angel and all the love for Mr Weatherly came back, so I had to rewatch NCIS from the start and I fell in love whit this pairing.

ps: I've read your post at your journal about kate, ziva and mcgee and I SO AGREE with you... even more now that I've watched the season back to back

Thanks! Yeah, I watched everything up to about the middle of S4 on a marathon last summer, so I noticed a lot of stuff that probably didn't bother people watching in real time.

My position has changed a bit, because the seasons went on and I realised I do much prefer Kate as a character over Ziva (she's a real person, whereas IMO, Ziva is a bit of a cartoon and therefore not as interesting), but I stand by everything I said. lol

The changed bit is that you said you didn't like Kate so much?
What annoy me most about Ziva is that I'm supposed to like her, that she has this big "look how cool she is" sign pointing at her, because, you know, she kickass but she can cook too! /sarcasm.
Uhm, no, doens't work that way.

Yeah, exactly. At the time I didn't consider myself a fan of Kate (liked her all right, but I wasn't super invested) and therefore I didn't feel like I was biased against Ziva for replacing her. Now Kate's probably my second or third favourite character, because I realised she was actually a really well-rounded, interesting character with realistic issues and faults. And her relationship with Tony fascinates me, because it is so obviously not what it appears to be, but I'm not sure if they know that. :P

Ziva on the other hand- while usually pretty entertaining- is such a huge Mary Sue. Like you said, they were basically screaming at the audience "YOU MUST LOVE HER. LOOK HOW AMAZING SHE IS, SHE'S SO MUCH MORE AWESOME THAN ALL THOSE PEOPLE YOU ALREADY CARE ABOUT! LOOK! LOOK! THEY ALL LOVE HER, DON'T YOU WANT TO LOVE HER, TOO?!" Which, yeah no. lol
