this is Phillipe Nover. He's competing in the ufc reality show, the ultimate fighter 8. He fights at lightweight (155 lbs) and He's actually one of the favorites to win it. I just found it funny how filipino he is. Cause usually most fil-foreigners just so happened to have filipino blood, but without any kind of pinoy culture in him/her (taulava anyone?). But this guy cooks balut, speaks filipino.
And his hat made me laugh. It says "mahal kita lola" ...hahaha! :D
so hopefully he does well enough to win the show or at least compete in the UFC, and hopefully when they come here in 2009 he'll be on the card.
and with brandon vera kinda losing his luster, it would be nice to see another filipino up and comer in the UFC.
