Hello everyone.
How are things? Swell I hope. I was woken up this morning by a phone call. I checked the ID, and I didn't recognize the number. I called the number back (thinking it was another mexican [I'm not being racist; I'm being literal. I guess, for the sake of fairness, they could be white, spanish-only speaking people...] calling for someone else that hasn't had this number in years), and a woman answered the phone. She informed me that she received my application to be the commencement speaker for my graduation in May, and she said that she wanted to have an interview with me. We set up an appointment for April 8th.
I hope they choose me. I think I'd do a good job. There's nothing I do better than preach to those who really couldn't give two shits... :) j/k
Vanna and I went to Roni's wedding last night, and I took a ton of mental notes. Going to her wedding has helped me figure out what I'm going to want to do at my wedding. There are definitely a few things I'm going to avoid, and there are a few more things I'm thinking about adding. Overall, it was a fun night, and I'm glad I went.
I'm joining Tucson's version of "The Biggest Loser." Should be fun. I think this will motivate me to lose more weight before my wedding. I've been yo-yo-ing between 220 and 230 for a while now, and I think it's time that I tried something different. I think the environment will make me competitive about my weight loss, so I'll take it seriously.
Wish me luck regarding the commencement speach and my weight loss. Hopefully I'll do well in both...
I've been talking back and forth with a couple advisers from Utah State. We're trying to figure out which classes I should be taking over the fall semester. With the gigantic list of classes they sent me, I'm probably going to attend some classes this summer so I can knock off a few more classes before I head out there. Most notably, I want to finish Psy. Stats and computer fundamentals. We'll see if the classes line up correctly so they'll accept them.
That's all for now.
Take it easy
