What a tease...

This weekend was awesome. I went to Atlanta to move some of my stuff up there, and I had a fun time. Granted, I was stoned and really tired most of Saturday, but is that a bad thing? I blame the tiredness on having worked 8 hours and then driving 6 hours and not getting enough sleep that night. Well, that's my excuse. Not a good one. The weekend was too short, as it was just a tease of life that is soon to come.

I'm going to see Harry Potter again later this week with amazing people. Yay! I can't wait!

I'll be dog-sitting for my sister and brother-in-law this weekend, so that usually means one thing. Panda Express and lots of video games since they have a 60" DLP TV...maybe I'll throw in a Blu-Ray since he has a PS3.

I rented and watched Adventureland this afternoon. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The soundtrack is worth picking up, and that girl from Twilight is really hot when she isn't saying shitty lines, as she does in that movie.

Work is going by so slowly, and the days don't get any better with the realization that they are numbered. I still have to clean up after everyone and do things that are way above my pay grade. But hey, my boss buys me coffee as thanks. That's OK, right?

I've also rented Batman Arkham Asylum for XBOX and will probably be playing that all week.

While I was in Atlanta, I had a dream that I was in a Harry Potter movie that doesn't exist, though I think I've got a great idea for a different ending to the series now. J. K. Rowling should have consulted me in the future before she wrote the last book. It's OK, though. People make these mistakes all the time. Oh, and this dream occurred before I got stoned, which should tell you how awesome my subconscious is when I'm sober.

Five minutes after I got home from Atlanta, my parents started talking about their medical problems. I know I'm making the right choice. If they can't go an entire conversation without mentioning medical stuff, it's time for a new crowd. My aunt was right when she said I needed an environment where the next big thing wasn't the next doctor visit. True story.

I guess that's all for now. I want to do something nice before I go into work. Maybe I'll give Amanda a call.
