People of Adstringendum! Now that last week's event is (tragically) over, it has been decided that we need some cheering up! Your hosts welcome you - one and all - to:
The Adstringendum Costume Ball
If you can't get a full costume in time for the ball, wearing a mask is sufficient! Your presence is much more important! And don't panic if you can't find a decent costumier anywhere - with a bit of creativity, all kinds of clever ensembles can be thought up at short notice! (I think I'm going to go as a pirate. That would look very dashing.)
What a magical night it will be! The candles, the music, the mystery of the masks! Do disguise yourself as best you can! And bring good spirits and comfortable dancing shoes, for we will surely waltz till midnight!
