in the last week exactly, i have been beaten to asking a girl to prom by a matter of minutes. everybody i'd like to ask either has a date already or ...well read on...u'll see
first case... last weekend...planning to ask in about fifteen minutes,,, POW,,, mentions that shes been asked already... lucky man mahon
case two... spend all week getting the nerve to ask a girl, when what happens? a random conversation,,, i get the opportunity to find out if shes going with anyone,,, i ask,"so who are u going with" thinking that if she says "i dont know" i'll say something like "would u do me the honor..." or something equally suave/rediculous at the same time,,,and then i hear shes going with some "older guy" couldnt really hear.... FUCK man this girl is top notch,not only is she absolutely gorgeous and one of the sweetest girls i know and not only have i known her for 4 years but she lives about 2 minutes from me
case three... i get convinced by my friends to ask this other girl, i realize that, though i dont know her very well, and as well as i'd like yet, that shes really good friends with other people in my limo and that it would be a great opportunity to get to know her,,, and plus i like her too. Friday, yesterday...i have the check in hand to buy the tickets at lunch, and had been planning all day how and when i'd ask her, when who do i see in line with some guy looking really excited, but her... i didnt even have to look again to see shed been asked. didnt even bother to buy the tickets that day.
so now there remains 1 on my list, chances are that it would be way awkward to ask her too.
other people have just recently been pushing some girl who i havent even met, where did this come from?
