I had a great day
Today was an incredable day, but first, a recap. I have turned in everything (except for the fucking seawead project) and am finished with highschool. I turned in my last paper on monday, good feeling to get that in, never have to write in or for highschool again. I have written close to 200 essays in the last 3 year; i am certain of that. AP Hist. last year alone was 80 something. but graduation is in a week or so. Its like D-day or something. right now its D- minus 3. three days until schools out. Just like it was for the men of Dday, most of whom were my age, which is trippy but gives me more of a reason to respect them; I am scared and excited at the same time.
Today was senior prank day. We parked a sailboat in the middleschool quad and took it over. spray painted '04 and seniors all over it and had nets and hammocks and fake fish and CD player playing pirate songs, it was great. we yelled ahoy to all the teachers as they came in. we parked it there at 6am and decorated early. it was so muchfun. then we used gorn's grill and got some meat, and cooked for teachers and ourselves. damn that food was good.I was chef master, i had my "kiss the cook" apron on, and was grillin burgers and dogs. then we just spent the whole day on the boat, tackling middleschoolers who would take our floating rafts and blow up mattresses, that was fun. then we spent the day relaxing, making food and signig yearbooks. got tons of compliments and there were just good vibes all over. great great day.
