Funny story. (please read..this is too funny to keep to myself)
Anyone speak German?
in my German III class...Every week or so we have vocabulary words/phrases...and we learn these words and phrases by either reading stories, or having people in the class act out stories (which we contribute to) with the phrases in the,m in front of the class....
Today...the story...was....especially.....................special.
Before I go into the story....let me just say....
There are some funny guys in my class...
Sasa- (Sasha) Is Bosnian...he's been here since he was like...5....he's funny...can't speak German very well...(speaks what we call Germish XD) he has a girlfriend, gets upset if anyone jokes about his girlfriend, and calls Austin "Austi-baerchen" ("little austin-bear"). He and Austin have conversations across the room. He plays goalie on the school soccer team.
Austin- Funny guy, good looking, plays around with the whole Sasa thing...they love eachother...and admit it...(....jokingly...)
Osbert- Asian. Sophomore. Quiet kid....one of those guys with the (sorry, no offense meant) stereotypically "gay" voices....he's cool....
Kai- Travels EVERYWHERE....has German and possibly Japanese blood in his family? idk...he plays soccer for the OTHER school soccer team (I have classes in three schools on one campus..it's screwed up..but really cool) pretty cool guy, funny...
SO ANYWAY....
Today..the vocab we had to get in was....
so ein Zufall- such a coincidence
Waehrend - while
hat Lust zu gehen- has desire to go
verabschiedet sich von- says goodbye to-
laechelt an- smiles at
bittet sie um eine Verabredung- asks her for a date
legnt ab- declines/rejects
So....
it all started yesterday when we were having a discussion based on the vocab...Frau (we refer to our teacher as Frau....even though we're supposed to be calling her Frau Henson XD) asked who's asked someone on a date...and...Austin...says that he's asked Osbert on a date to the "Asian Buffet".....and that spawned a whole story.
Here it goes.
Osbert and Austin were in German class. Austin texted Osbert and asked him for a date, saying: "You are a diamond. Will you go to Asian Buffet with me?". Osbert saw the text and cried out "Finally! ^^" because he has the desire to go, but fainted out of pure happiness. Austin jumped up and screamed "Help!Help! The love of my life! Osbert!". No one in the class called 911 to help because they didn't want to get their phones taken away (my school has a very strict no-cell-phone policy), but Sasa jumped up and ran over to Austin! He was angry because Austin told HIM that HE [Sasa] was the love of his life. He punched Austin in the nose, said goodbye to him with "I hate you!" and ran off to the bathroom to cry like a little girl. While Sasa left the room, Collin and Marcus smiled at Austin because they thought he was hott. Austin texted Collin and asked him on a date, but Collin declined, because he knew that Austin was a player. Austin was sad because all three boys didn't love him, so he walked over to "Kia" (portrayed by Kai), a girl in the class. He asked "Kia" on a date but then, what a coincidence! Osbert woke up and Sasa came back from the bathroom! They saw Austin with Kia and became angry! (Kai and Austin started striking ninja-poses right about now XD) They started to fight. "Kia" tried to kick Sasa, but Sasa grabbed his foot and shoved him to the ground. "Kia" hit her head on the floor, cracked her skull open and died. Austin tried to punch Osbert in the face, but Osbert blocked him with one hand, and with the other, he grabbed Austin's heart and ripped it out of his chest! Austin fell to the ground. Then the German teacher walked back into the classroom, the heel of her shoe getting stuck in the hole in Austin's chest. Osbert turned to Sasa and asked him "Sasa, would you like to go to the Asian Buffet with me?".
The End.
YEAH.
My German class is intense....our teacher is insane XD
Oh btw...when it was suggested that Kai portray "Kia", Austin said "Kia! Get it! Like a car! I could drive her!" Frau just looked at him and shook her head XD...
...so..yeah..
I'm not going to bother translating that into German....
