Okay. It has been AGES since I last posted something in here. I don't even know if there are still people following, but what the heck...post away I would =)
I'm supposed to be preparing for a class on Monday. I have to check the systems if everything's working, post some visual aids to be used in class, and several other things I need to do before class starts. What am I doing blogging then? Let's just say when procrastination hits me, it hits hard. So here I am, lazing away on a humid Saturday afternoon. Haven't even cleaned the house yet, and if you've seen Nodame's room pre-Chiaki in Nodame Cantabile, you'd agree as well that I need to clean up NOW. =)
I used to post stuff I like in some of my older posts, so let's continue tradition shall we?
1.) Stieg Larson's "Millenium" series
I've been hearing all the hype about The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but have never really gotten around to reading it. Never thought I'd like it which of course proved me wrong in the end. I won't post a summary, but I have to say, the first book left me really disturbed. Paranoid even. Maybe because I was almost held up by a snatcher one night on the way home (more on that in a different post) during the time I was reading Book 1. Books 2 and 3 were just okay for me, but the suspense in Dragon Tattoo can't be matched. I'm finishing Hornet's Nest now, and I hope I won't be disappointed.
2.) Cebu
I was made to work during the Christmas holidays (booo) but was rewarded by a 2 week break last month. Spent a few days in Cebu for vacation and I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm not really a seasoned traveler, but I was really impressed by how friendly Cebuanos are. Right from the airport, a guide already helped us with places we might want to visit while we were there. People were helpful whenever we asked for directions and whatnot. I ♥ Cebu!
3. ) Chocolate
I've been on a chocolate binge since...December. No wonder my grand plans of dieting at the start of the year went crashing down after 1 pathetic week. It started with the chocolate buffets I went to in December, and continued as I surrounded myself with more chocolate. Chocolate bars, candy, and even chocolate soy milk! It has even sneaked into my playlist. (Check out out Perfume's Chocolate Disco, haha!)
4.) Kpop
I really thought I was OVER my kpop obsession about two years ago. I was more into Jpop for about a year, and then Korean pop music suddenly sneaked back into my fangirl life last year. Damn you, Taeyang. And your abs as well, haha! To be specific, I spazz mostly to BIGBANG, and it's been so bad that....
5.) Merchandise
...I've spent way too much already on BB related stuff. CDs, DVDs, posters--I got it all. I DO realize that it's mostly kids who spazz over idols, but there IS a reason why my blog is called A Fool's Paradise =)
So there you go. Again, there are lots of things that I still want to share , but kindly refer to the second paragraph above. =)
