I spent yesterday at the Savannah 2010 Picnic at the Park
I went by myself and spent most of the time there reading, eatting, trying to hear the music, and relaxing in the sun so I didn't take many pictures but here is what I did take.
I sat across from the crazy. This picture doesn't even do it justice. There were so many people there!! I didn't realize how big an event this thing was in Savannah. Lesson has been learned. But even though I wasn't in the thick of everything, I enjoyed myself.
See all the open space around me where I chose to sit? Much better. Except for a moment not long after I first sat down where a little black boy who was playing with a soccer ball and almost kicked it into my food. Not cool kid.
My food. Heck yes Subway! (seeing all the people walk by me with thier cute little boxes of picnic gear and matching plates and stuff did make me want to have an offical picnic set though.)
Me ^ wearing my brightest pink shirt because the theme for the picnic was Pink in the Park in support of breast cancer awareness month.
Before I left I walked down a bit to take an obligatory picture of the fountain. It's one of the first things I think of when I think about this park and I'd only seen it once before. Ignore the skater dudes.
