lots of links this week. :) I came up with a bunch of things I love even though I didn't go to a single class all week and was stressing.
© Fried Green Tomatoes movie (I’ve also started reading the book now)
© Skipping class today for a relaxing day after a stressful week
© New clothes! (I bought a short jacket with red balloons and flying pigs and the shirt I’m wearing today for Valentine’s that is pink with red ladybugs and red lace along the edges.)
© Valentine’s presents (my parent sent me a great package that made so happy/miss them I started tearing up and my grandma sent me the sweetest card that got here on Tuesday and I resisted opening until 12:30 this morning while I was doing my laundry.)
© Inspiring blogs (Some of my most recently visited sites lately are:
www.galadarling.com ,
http://www.planetsark.com ,
http://beinspiredeveryday.com ,
http://www.happiness-project.com/happiness_project ,
http://www.lifestudent.com © New projects! (I’m making an inspirational/random fun jar of stuff for one my besties birthdays, and one for myself, and probably then another for my other bestie. I got the idea from Keri Smith’s (
www.kerismith.com ) 100 ideas that I printed off, Gala Darling’s style tips and stuff I thought up. It’s fun to think of uplifting things that might help make my friends smile. My next project is going to be just to document a whole day in my life in photos. )
© Jeff Dunham. Freaking amazingly funny ventriloquist. Watched Spark of Insanity after wedding last week and I love it!
©
www.wherethehellismatt.com Found a random link to his site while browsing the web and it made me smile to see him doing that weird dance all over the world. Sounds like a fun idea. Roadtrip anyone?
©
www.futureme.org (write letter to yourself in the future? Yes please! I already wrote one to be delieved after my 101 Things in 1001 Days challenge is over.)
© My new vintage 60’s dress from eBay! I haven’t worn it any where yet but I already love it. Different from what I usually wear, but I have been trying to expand my wardrobe in college to things besides jeans and t-shirts. I’m cleaning my wardrobe out during spring break.)
© Lists (all kinds)
© Finally getting to an allergists [who was super nice] and finding out more about how bad my allergies are and how to help them. [ He said I would eventually probably have to do the shots though :( boo.]
© Alternative healing (EFT looks like it has good success with people who don’t even believe in it. I found a group that meets in Savannah that talked about it, and when I get a car I’d like to check the group out. I don’t feel like I can do good EFT on myself, I need a mentor first to teach it to me.) Acupuncture seems like a possible way to help relieve stress and some allergies as well; unfortunately, my mother seems negatively set against it.
© Peach lotion from bath & body works
© waiting for mail to arrive (waiting for dvds of ALittle Princess, The Secret Garden, the 3rd book of the Griffin & Sabine trilogy, and Emilie Autmun’s new cd: 4 O’clock. Also wishing for replys from both pen pals and my last LEX mag that ships out tomorrow)
© Savannah (Books and movies that are set there, the history, the beautiful architecture, I wish I could drive and so see more of it besides the college.)
© Viggo Mortensen (He seems like a fascinating person. I eventually want to get one of his books. This one
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1889195499/ref=wl_it_dp?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1P0HUYO0WHJ9Q&colid=277F8TEPCSA90 looks interesting.
© Phone calls (I usually don’t like to talk on the phone because of awkward silences but today I called my Grandma and my mom called me. I love them both. <3)
© Madonna (She is crazy, but I still like her music and her guts just to get out there and do things no matter what the people say. Plus, girl is fit and has some mad dance skillz :P )
