Hi everyone, Happy New Year. A new year to start over and do new and exciting things. My last post I mentioned I have a job, but it was only a temporary position; so I'm unemployed again. I applied to a few job positions earlier today, and I planning on applying to a lot more. I hope to get another job soon. I want to save up for several things including a PlayStation 4 console (my parents my help pay for it next month) and my trip to Anime Central. I am not missing another convention; this year will be the eighth time. Though, I do work this Saturday for one of their regulars, so I'll get an extra $70 to $80 for that day.
I'm planning some new things to do on this blog and on YouTube, I just need to schedule my time. I hope to do more reviews for books, anime, and movies/TV shows, and I want to do prompts to motivate me to write more. I going to try 10 to 20 minutes writing exercises with random prompts from others to get ideas flowing. I might even post some of my writing on here to receive feedback from those who visits my blog. Besides, writing prompts and reviews, I also plan on doing rants or writing about a topic that's on my mind at that moment. It could be anything from social life, plans for the future, or geeky/nerdy stuff. I want to write more posts for this blog, so I will try to write about something a least once or twice a week.
I got a few plans schedule these last couple of weeks such as an anime review of Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad, maybe a writing exercise post, and topic post. Everything not clear at the moment, but tomorrow I going to start planning out my time. Next month I want to read a few books and write reviews for them. Same with some anime I plan on watching. I want to posts more often on my YouTube channel and about other things besides book hauls, TBRs, and wrap ups. I want to do tags or talk about a certain topic that's on my mind, and other fun video ideas.
Oh, there's something else you need to know. My laptop is now broken and is not able to fix without paying. Since part of the monitor is broken, which makes it hard to open and close, so my dad decided to buy another one. We got this laptop at a nice pawn shop and it was the same brand and model of the one that was ruined. So far it's working well, and I doing my best to take better care of it. My dad, sister, and brother use it sometimes too, so they better be careful because they're buying a new one.
