Actually both of my cats are pretty good about it, even though they do HATE baths! We do it in the tub, & Pepper spends the whole time trying to find a way to jump out of the tub so I have to slide back & forth to block her from escaping. Then she sits in there & cries every now & then while I wash her. Ginger hasn't gotten as many baths as Pepper because I haven't had her as long, but she does pretty well too. She cries more than Pepper, though. But neither cat really scratches or bites or anything, which is good. When I was a kid I remember my mom getting scratched SO badly by one of our cats who crawled up her arm & down her back (digging his claws into her skin the whole way) as he tried to escape from the bathtub. EEK!
I used to give Pepper baths pretty regularly when I first got her because I used to have really bad allergies to cats & my vet said bathing her regularly would keep the dander under control better. But over the years my allergies have pretty much gone away, & since the cats don't ever get outside to get really dirty, I just don't hassle with the bath thing very often anymore. Maybe like once or twice a year...
Next time I do it I should take some pictures of 'em though...hee hee, they look SO FUNNY when they're all wet, & it takes like an hour of licking themselves head to toe for them to get themselves dried off. :P
