Good stuff... Did hell freeze over? LOL!

Well... you may all pass out in shock and post that's not about crappiness... LOL!

It's official, I turned in my time off slip today. I am going to Toronto for five days later this month. I am going to see the Blondie show again hopefully. If shaka743's cousin pulls through w/ all access passes again I don't have to watch from 14 rows back and will get to be right up front. I'll be going to see larah33 **Dances around all silly shouting YAY!** shaka743 found out today that he will be able to go which I am hoping more or less guarentees us passes. I wasn't really counting on it before. I was thinking just tickets if it were just me and larah33 and her son.

I got to see the show this past Sunday at Blossom. We stayed in our seats through Blondie b/c shaka743 wasn't quite convinced at that point they were ALL ACCESS passes, which they were! We could have been upfront w/ all the other All Access people. Oh, well. We did head backstage between shows and watched the first few songs of the New Cars from the stage door. Then we spent the rest of the show and some time after in the sound crew bus talking to his cousin and the other guys. It rebirthed my dream of being on the road surrounded by music again! I would do anything to have a job in the music industry. Music's my life, it's in my blood, and I love just about every genre and would love to be able to be versitle enough that I could work in any genre too! God I wish I could make that dream come true somehow!

Besides that, more good news! I go back to the same hospital for another interview tomorrow! This time I'm interviewing on the hospital side. The girl I talked to said that the other position w/ the affiliates I interviewed for was filled but she wanted me to come in and interview with her. I just have to pass a typing test. The requirement: 30 wpm. Last I knew I was typing between 70 and 75 wpm. I'm excited. I go there before the doctor.

The funny part to the interview story... last night shaka743 was helping me figure out my going to Toronto and I said in goofiness, "Well, If God really loves me, I'll get a call tomorrow." (referrencing the hospital) Well, I got a call. LOL! Maybe not the one I wanted but one just as good if it turns out well. She referenced w/ me the interview I had w/ the director a couple weeks ago. I am wondering if they put a good word in for me at the affiliate office. Marybeth was telling me in the interview w/ the affiliates that the hospital benefits are a bit nicer than theirs. That could be a good thing. I think, if I remember correctly, I had an RMH employee transported by the one city I bill and they have Hometown which is AWESOME insurance. I guess I'll probably find out tomorrow. **KEEPING FINGERS CROSSED AND PRAYING GOOD THOUGHTS** I think I might want to take better stock in my prayers and stuff. LOL!
