Back in the 1980s here in the UK we had a kids' show called Jim'll Fix It, in which a dodgy old DJ called Jimmy Savile (who has since gone bonkers) "fixed it" for kids to do stuff they had always wanted to do. Most people I know wrote in at one time or another. I wanted to "shrink and go into my dollshouse", which was a bit crap.
Anyway, back in 1980 a group of cub scouts wrote in asking if Jimmy could Fix It for them to eat their packed lunches whilst riding on a rollercoaster. The result was fucking, fucking funny as the food went flying everywhere and they got covered....go here if you wanna watch a clip. It's gone down in 30something cultural history here.
I just read that seven of the original cub scouts and their scout master have arranged to recreate this!! They're all in their 30s now and their scout master is in his 60s. It's going to be on UKTV Gold in April. Fucking fantastic :D
