Fall 2008 grades are in!!!

Oh gods, I am so HAPPY!!!!

((Disclaimer: I am currently off of my bipolar meds(which is a whole other story) so my moods are subject to sudden and often illogical change. Because I am happy this minute, does not mean that I will remain so in the next five))

So. Grades are in. I looked. *bouncing like a squirrel jacked up on Mt. Dew*

Class (Teacher): Grade
General Biology (Dr. Westrik): A
General Biology Lab 101 (Dr. Westrik, Mr. Hinz): A
Math for Early/Mid Grade Teachers (Dr. Refsland): B
College Algebra (Dr. Refsland): C

Semester GPA: 3.10
Cumulative GPA: 2.65

*bounces* YAY! 3.10!!! That's the highest GPA I've had in a semester! So happy right now. I got the grades I thought I would. Algebra's what I was really worried about because I went into the final with a 72% average. I had to pass that test to keep the C. Tempted to email Dr. Refsland and ask what my test grade was.

Also got my finaid class list for next semester, which starts on the 20th of Jan. I'm really loaded up next semester. 17 hours.

Class (Teacher) - Day (Time) - Credits
Bio 102 (Dr. Westrik) - Tuesday/Thursday (12:30-1:45pm) - 3
Bio Lab 102 (Dr. Westrik, Mr. Hinz) - Thursday (2:00-3:50) - 1
Health 201 Safety & First Aid (Mr. Perrine) - Friday (9:00-7:00pm) - 2
Descrete Math 250 (Dr. Refsland) - Monday/Wednesday (11:00-12:15pm) - 3
English 205 Modern Tradition (Mrs. Stennett) - Monday (4:00-6:50pm) -3
Education 110 Fundimentals of Education (Staff) - Tuesday (7:00-8:50pm) - 2
Education 200 Child Developement (Staff) - Tuesday/Thursday (5:30-6:45pm) - 3

So. Yeah. *deflates (See? There goes the mood)* Sounds like a lot, but really the First Aid class is only three Fridays in Feb, so it's more like 15 hours. Plus 20 hour work week. Joy. *sigh*

Meg said to mention the ADD thing to the First Aid teacher cause of it being an 8 hour class. Then it becomes an ADA issue. Except I don't generally see my ADD as an ADA issue. I've mentioned it to a couple teachers before, but never made it an issue. I dunno. We'll see.

So. Yeah. I have 49 hours completed and I need 64 for graduate. Not bad. Okay, yeah, a 2 year degree is gonna take me 3 and a half, but I also haven't been crackin' down on the hours, either. Before this semester, I've always taken either 9 or 12 hours.

Gods, this is. Wow. Almost done. Then another two years for my Education degree....wow. My life is finally coming together. And it feels great.
