*snorts* Nothing wrong with big. I'm big, yet probably in better health than a lot of the skinny chics wanderin' 'round.

*giggles* Oh man. Yeah, I don't go total computer geek, but I get it. My problem is that I feel I have to constantly dumb things down for folk. It's just easier to assume they don't know what I'm talking about than to risk the blank looks, y'know? Of course then I get labeled arrogant and obnoxious....

I felt that way in 102. I started two weeks with Mr. Hines in 98 cause my ACT was only 16, but then I did the Compass test and scored 5 points away from getting shoved into 109. Those two weeks in 98, which a nice refresher, were boring as hell. Crist, it's like that in 210 Stats. I've gotten into the habit of just keeping quiet, not even speakin' out if I know the answers because over half the class (all 9 of us) are struggling with it and need the experience and direction, y'know?

And, yeah, some kids in my class say it's gone by too fast, too. It's given Dr. Refsland issues cause we're about four chapters behind where she wanted us (we're at the end of chapter 6). I just hope Geometry's better.

Yeah, I'm not that big and I exercise regularly. The thing with me is that I feel that I'd be more attractive to guys if I were skinny. But it seems like that's not going to happen.

Personally, I don't know how to dumb things down. I've been a computer nerd for so long that I can't really think like someone who knows jack shit about them. Yeah, I know the jargon, I know the acronyms, and I confuse people like crazy.

I never took my ACT or SAT, but on my COMPASS test I scored six points away from Math 102, so I was stuck in 099. Math 099 was boring, but I had to attend every class in order to pass. I was thought of as the genius in the class who, which was cool. The advantage was that I made an A on every test; I did actually get a 95 on some of them, because I forgot to carry over the negative sign. Oops.

I tried that for a while then I thought "Well, if they want someone skinnier, there's much to choose from. They want me, they got me." *shrugs* Yeah, to lose a few pounds would be nice for the very few health probs I DO have, but I can live with it. Yeah, I know, cliche crap, but it's better than constantly worrying.

Well, I never learn most of the official terms anyway, so it's easy for me to dumb down. That's why for the longest time I didn't speak. I didn't like the odd looks I was getting. Of course then I met a couple girls on LJ and, well, yeah. "House on fire" takes on a whole new meaning and I'm finally chatty and confusing the hell out of my folks again....am I making sense?

I took my ACTs YEARS ago, back when I got my GED, and I really should have just taken the Compass test before signing up instead of used my ACTs cause I probably would'a scored better in tons of stuff. I was put in 102, but I struggled so they dumped me in on 101.

*snerk* I hate negative signs. That's what I had the hardest time grasping in 102. Took me all semester to finally get that negative and minus are pretty much the same thing.
