Well hello Catherine Barson Aka Tabitha Crow!! What a lovely name! Bit long isn't it? Would it be impolite of me to shorten it? What if I concentrate on the bit in the middle and simply call you Aka? Sounds vaguely of the Orient and a bit like a sound made by a cat I once owned~
Aka, Cap'n Drew is all about encouraging the new talent, so yes I am interested in having you perform at this year's event IF your music fits with the flavor of our established acts (renfest on a stick). BUT room at the pubsing is tight, especially now that we have confirmed the return of our lineup from last year. I'll check with them about fitting you in there.
At the very "worst" there's probably a spot for you at the kick-off show which is proposed to occur on the porch of Mister Eddie's Attic in the late afternoon, just as it did last year.
As far as press materials go, an endorsement from one of our bands (TQA, WW&S, Lindsay Smith, The Lost Boys, etc) would go a long way. If you have a website, a MySpace page or something similar with a recording of your music featured thereupon it would be very good because I could get a feel for you and your style of music!
