Hola, LJ!

So, yeah, it's been kind of a long time since I've posted here, but I've been a wee bit busy. Leo, Olivia, and I finally moved into our new apartment, and I love it! I am so glad that we waited the extra two months to move into the place that we really wanted, because I am enjoying living here so much more than I thought I would. We moved in at the first of November, and while we still have the dining room and Leo's desk area to finish up, we are mostly settled, and I am so happy to be living somewhere so nice!

Here, have some photos! This is by no means the finished product, so to speak, but it's a work in progress! I'll have more and better photos in a few weeks, including our holiday decorations, woo hoo!

Lease-signing day! Here I am standing in the living room, looking at the sun room and the dining room.

Move-in day! Leo and my dad and my brother-in-law were amazing loading our things onto the truck from storage and then unloading them into the new apartment. We have our things back after two and a half months, yay!

The second room unpacked (after Olivia's bedroom, of course!) was the kitchen. I love having space for all of my things. The appliances may not be fancy - though I am loving the ice/water in the freezer door - but they work, which is more than I can say for our old condo!

I've been semi-jokingly calling the sun room our "library" since we picked this apartment. We've got tons of books (only one of four bookshelves!) and a nice, comfy chair, and there's my desk, too!

Olivia really digs having the stereo in the living room She likes picking out CDs. She alternates between Jump, Little Children's "Licorice Tea Demos" and a Motown compilation. I like the way her taste is developing.

I'm really enjoying our living space a lot. I don't watch much TV, and I now prefer the chair in the sun room to the living room couch, but our things fit very nicely into the space here.

See? Olivia is a pretty happy camper!

As I said, more complete pictures to come, but since I'm now semi-settled in my own space again and have a place to sit down and peruse the Internet, perhaps I'll be around a bit more. Now tell me, how are all of you?

know your roots, in the family way, i am a domestic goddess, scattered pictures, olivia simone, movin'on up
